Geocache Description:

NOTE:  As of 6 September 2020, I have reworked elements of this cache to take account of physical changes on the ground.  This includes sourcing some of the letter/waypoint combinations and collecting some of the numbers in different ways.  While the final location is unchanged, if you are part-way through collecting the necessary information, you are likely to get in a tangle.  Please contact me and I'll make sure all is clear.

The above co-ordinates are NOT for the cache, but a suggested car park which is a good place to start the walk around the old buildings of Cheam and through its two parks. The walk is approximately 3 miles long. The questions are in a suggested route around the area. Whilst in the churchyard you should visit some interesting graves, including the Lumley Chapel in the centre of the churchyard and in the far corner there is the grave of a Knight Templar with a cross on the top and directly opposite under a large square stone is a plague pit with 32 bodies buried but no names given. There are plenty of pubs in the area, and you may even visit one.

The cache is a small locked top plastic box. As the GPS reception is not brilliant at the cache location you have been given a large clue.  Waypoints 7 and 8 are in a walled garden which closes at 9.00pm or ½ hour after sunset - whichever is the earlier.  All the other waypoints, including the final, are accessible 24/7.

The final location and the hiding place of the cache is at:
