Geocache Description:

Waiuku forest, sandy 20 min walk.

Take time to have a drink or eat your lunch while you find and decifer the micro cache. Then take a short drive about 3.5 km to the walking track. Fishing rods, kids and dogs allowed. At high tide a horse track will provide access to the main cache.
Gates into forestry close at 6pm so don't enjoy the spot for too long. May be closed for a few months over summer if there is extreme fire risk.
