Dead Womans Bottom Traditional Cache
Two in a bush: Sadly we have decided to archive this cache. The area has deteriorated badly - we wouldn't like to walk there anymore and guess not many others would either. It certainly isn't worthy of a cache site. Thanks to everyone who visited.

A short easy walk on a bridleway, OK for bikes & buggies, good terrain but can be muddy in places after heavy rain.
Parking at N51 12.839, W002 24.428. This is at the side of a fast (but not busy) road - take care, or parking in nearby lane.
The cache is situated in an old disused quarry where the wildlife is gradually taking over. The path beyond the cache leads through some lovely woodland beside a stream and is worth taking the time to visit, but is not then suitable for bikes & buggies.
The cache is a click-lock tupperware type box.
NO CLIMBING OR SCRAMBLING INVOLVED - KEEP YOUR FEET FIRMLY ON THE GROUND!
The following web-sites are very interesting, the first giving a legend of Dead Womans Bottom and the second, about the quarry road protest of 1998. We knew nothing of this when we first posted the listing - MANY THANKS TO MOOMINMAMA.
