Geocache Description:

This cache is part of our Drive in the Country Series. We frequent these roads and enjoy getting off of the beaten path. These caches are intended to provide a relaxing diversion. We have left plenty of room for other cachers to place caches if they are so inclined.

Built in 1913, it is the oldest schoolhouse building remaining in Waller County. Restored and established as the Field Store Community Center Inc. in 1991, it is now used for public functions.

There are lots of thorns here but no need to bushwhack. Please respect this historical area.
