A little cache at a peaceful place.
Back in the 1980s when I lived in Scotts Valley, one of my favorite bicycle rides was a loop that started out along Bean Creek Road, a pleasant, quiet little country-backwoods road close to Scotts Valley but not crowded with traffic.
This spot in particular always struck me as a peaceful stop.
I recommend that you cache here when you have the time to appreciate the road and especially the setting.
If you are coming from San Jose and would like to do something a little different for your drive than Highway 17, take Highway 17 to the Glenwood cutoff. Take the cutoff to Glenwood and then turn right. Turn left on Bean Creek Road. Afterwards take Bean Creek into Scotts Valley.
Bring your own writing instrument.
Enjoy! And happy caching!
