Geocache Description:

Easy Walk Though National Park. Can walk in and will take about 3 - 4 hours or hire water taxi, which will take 15 mins then about 30 minute walk.

Set in one of the loveliest National Parks in New Zealand, this cache placement allows the chance to explore this unspoilt coastline. Gentle walk on known tracks. Lots of Bays to stop at and explore or picnic on.
Cache hidden at historic location where Jules Sebastien Cesar Dumont d'Urville lay anchor for six days in 1827 to replenish supplies. Read up on this place of interest at GPS location S40 57.644 E173 03.338.
Cache location would be an excellent picnic spot or even camping spot.
