Jake's Can Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

JakeInTexas: My original cache and its location are no longer as I placed it. Others in the past took it upon themselves to attempt to 'maintain' the cache for which I, as cache owner, do not wish to be responsible. To those who saw this cache as it was originally intended, thanks for taking time to visit it. For those who previously 'maintained' it, you should go and collect what is left of your creation.

Geocache Description:

After having done several micros, this is my first ammo can.

I've heard several people lament the abundance of micros in the area and lack of ammo cans so here's a cache for the ammo can fans out there. You might not be able to just walk up to this one as it has some camo on it to blend in with its surroundings.

The best approach is south of the dry creek bed. There is somewhat of a path to the cache with some scattered bits of PI. Some light/moderate bushwhacking may be required as you near GZ. Be careful to stay away from the drop-off to the dry creek bed as it is steep. When you find the cache, remove it from its hiding spot and carefully remove its camo before opening the can. When replacing the cache please help camo it as good as you found it. You'll know what I mean when you find it.

This may also be a good cache for TBs to rest along their journey. As always, enjoy this hunt!
