Geocache Description:

Welcome to East Salem located in Decatur IN.

Salem Church cornerstone 1882

This is a fairly small but interesting area on the east edge of Decatur IN. The above coordinates will take you to the cornerstone of the Salem Church that once stood here over a century ago.

From this marker you must march approx. 30 paces in a slight Northeasterly direction (bearing 18 deg.) to find the cache. The cache container is an 8"x6" camo'd lock&lock. Do not concern yourself with the one lone house across the street..they are aware of this cache hide, so stealth should not be an issue here.

We've juiced the cache with some sweet goodies to get things started, and we've released Chief MooseFeather TB to begin his journey around the country.

Please be respectful of the area, and as always there is no night caching allowed.
