ronell: Het is moeilijk gebleken om op korte termijn een geschikte verstopplek te vinden die bestand is tegen de aanwezigheid van vissers en flanerende boulevard bezoekers. We hebben besloten de cache te archiveren en tzt op zoek te gaan naar een nieuwe plek.

Geocache Description:

Een eenvoudige cache in de Rotterdamse haven. Neem even de tijd om hier even rond te kijken. De omgeving biedt veelal een prachtig uitzicht.
An easy cache in the harbour area of Rotterdam. Please take your time to look around. The stash area may offer you an excellent view.

De sluisjesdijk en waalhaven zijn verboden voor alle verkeer tussen 's avonds 7 uur en 's ochtends 5 uur
Traffic is prohibited on sluisjesdijk and waalhaven between 7 PM and 5 AM.

Op bovenstaande coordinaat is een informatiebord geplaatst met wetenswaardigheden over de Rotterdamse haven. De gegevens op het bord samen met een heel klein beetje rekenwerk zijn al voldoende om de eind-coordinaat van deze cache te bepalen. Parkeren vormt hier over het algemeen geen probleem.

Je zoekt naar een klein plastic doosje. Daardoor biedt het - naast een logboekje - slechts ruimte aan enkele kleine Travelbugs en/of geocoins.
You're looking for a small rubbermaid box. Only small travel bugs and some geocoins will fit in the cache!

Op bepaalde tijden trekt men hier al gauw de aandacht. Kijk rustig rond en ga op de cacheplek met je neus richting het water op het randje zitten (er is genoeg te zien). Het moet te doen zijn om ongezien de cache box te pakken.
Others may be watching you while you're near the stash area. Just sit down at the edge and enjoy the view. Wait for the right moment and grab for the little box.
Vooral 's avonds en in het weekend menen sommige lieden het asfalt op deze lokatie met hun motor/auto te moeten teisteren. Misschien is het in dat geval beter om op een ander tijdstip nog eens terug te komen...
Especially in the evening and in the weekends some people joyride their vehicle on this parking area. If you see them while you are near then maybe it is better to come back another time
Voorzichtigheid is geboden bij het zoeken naar de cache opdat men niet de schuinte afglijdt. Het is niet nodig af te dalen. Let op eventuele kinderen in uw team!
Please be careful not to slip down the slope. It is not necessary to go down. Take care about the kids if they join you on your cache hunt.
