Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in memory of a true and trusted friend. This dog was my companion during a rather dark time.

During a dark time in my life I had a great dog that I named Colby. He was a true companion and I enjoyed walking him in this little known and seldom visited park. He would chase balls and ducks until he could not move any longer. Then one day he became deathly afraid of thunder. It soon became impossible to contain him. Not wanting to condem him to a life of collar and chain I attempted to secure the yard he roamed in. After one violent summer storm he got out and never returned. I would like to imagine that he still romps in this park and chases the ducks on the pond.

Container is a small metal Army medic box that has been covered by camo tape. Enjoy, and Happy Caching.
