This is a regular size cache along a nice trail at Breaks Interstate Park.
This cache is a painted ammo box located just off the Ridge Trail in the Breaks Interstate Park at Breaks, VA. Park in the State Line Overlook Parking lot for nearest access.If you pick up a Chestnut Ridge Nature Trail Guide at the Visitor Center, the numbered markers explain the sights along the way. Start at number 1 and go along to number 14 which is a reference point for this cache. Notice the many exposed rocks in this area. In a few thousand years they will move down slope or disappear due to the action of the water and abrasion. I would suggest that you continue your hike and return to State Line Overlook by the Geological Trail. Remember heavy tree cover will affect your gps. These coordinates were taken with an external antenna for the best accuracy. DO NOT attempt this cache after dark.
