Cache is located at the base of Diamond Head. You can park on the street and walk to cache.
This cache was established by two teams who have been great friends since 1995. We are "NoaNani" and "C2photog with Big J." The name represents where we come from--Kentucky is the Bluegrass state and Hawaii is the Aloha state. (NOTE: If there is a problem with the cache, you may email either C2photog or NoaNani but the latter is the "local" owner.)
There is free parking on the street and then a 5 minute hike down a paved, moderately steep path. Afterwards, enjoy the view.
The container is a plastic cuttlefish container (about 3/4 gallon) that has some camouflage for good hiding. Original contents include: a travelbug that is a bug; Subway wristband; HBA Eagles "Livestrong" band; Coffeebean and Tealeaf cup holder; golf tee; travel log and pen; Chicken Little top; a Nancy's Bagels punchcard (if you're ever in Louisville, KY); and some other stuff...
Please be very discreet as there are potential mugglers around this area. Also, please try to hide the cache as you found it. There's no need to bushwack for this one.
