Geocache Description:

This cache is located next to the cowlitz river.there is a turn off here that is very large for fisherman and swimmers. the parking lot is a little rough that is why I rated the terrain with a two.

A friend of mine and I went swimming here alote when we were younger and had more time to do so,and we now come by alittle more often. this is a place to swim & fish. there is a boat launch here but it is very rough and for small boats only. this area floods in the winter months but the cache should be reachable all year long. There use to be a bridge that went out to the island but it was washed away. in the summer you can wade out to the island. you dont have to go past the concrete barriers to get this cache. it is small and tubular and will hold small trade items. there are some small Canadian flag hat pins A die and a five dollar bill for a first to find prize.
