Moose on the Loose Mystery Cache
TheAdamsFamily!: Dawgone Moose! I think another is gone for good and after spending a bunch of time reworking it and no one going after it, I think it is time to put the moose out to pasture...or wherever we would put moose when we retire them. Thanks everyone for playing. This was one of my favorite, most memorable caches to make.

When our daughter was about a year old, Coeur d’Alene was set upon by a wild pack of tattooed moose! They evaded capture for an entire summer, showing up on street corners and various grazing areas. Finally, they were rounded up and sold to the highest bidder (at least the proceeds went to a good cause--the schools). There are only a smattering of moose left for the public to gawk at, but we have located about a half a dozen and the coordinates follow.
Notice that there are 6 coordinates and 6 clues (notes). Seek out these beasties, answer the clues from the colorful artwork you will find on their hides, then circle those answers in the word search. You will be left with unused letters, some of which are red. These red letters are your coordinates to the final cache. Copy the letters in order: line by line, from left to right (like you read a book). You may be wondering how a string of letters will give you numbers for coordinates; well, that’s another puzzle all together. Good luck!
The moose are all within 100 feet of parking. The extra stars on the terrain are for the final cache, a nice short hike on dirt trails until the final balancing act.
*IMPORTANT NOTE* Since the readings can be kind of sketchy where you're going: The final cache is located about 30-40 feet off of an easy, well maintained trail. There is no bushwacking required for the final. There is a clear way from point A (main trail) to point B (final cache). Just don't expect it to be a trail. For more details, see Hint 3.
Remember, moose are wild animals, so do not attempt to climb on them, feed them, etc. Due to the fact that some of these moose are on private property or in nice flowerbeds, the coordinates will get you as close as you need to figure out the clue needed for the puzzle. One is inside a public building, but if it is closed you might be able to make it out through the window. There is nothing physically hidden on or near the moose for you to find! All the answers that you need lie in each moose’s unique design.
