One of those spots that the locals are not familiar with!
Worth the trip to just enjoy the views! South of Silver City on Highway 90 to Lordsburg there will be a turn leaving pavement to the west heading to Burro Mountain Homestead having the coordinates of 32' 37.551" x 108 20.681". Stay on main road about 8.8 miles. Most vehicles will travel this road as it is county maintained, but a large motor home might have a challenge in store. There will be a small parking area at 32'36.854" x 108'27.283".
The easiest traverse is to walk back east on the road about 450 feet before turning north towards the cache, otherwise, it will be brushy!. Stay on top of the ridge to a vista point at 32'36.935 x 108'27.105 where you should stop and enjoy the view prior to proceeding to the cache, which is not far away. And as always, stay aware of your surroundings!
