This cache highlights one of Federal Way's newest
neighborhoods.
This is a place that I used to enjoy as a child when it was
forest and "wild" space. I remember coming back in here with my
friends on bikes to just mess around and enjoy the great jumps and
trails that used to be very near here.
Even though I am sad to see the wild places in town dwindle, I
appreciate the amount of space that they set aside in here for a
great neighborhood park. I have already taken advantage of the very
nice basketball court here and look forward to many return
visits.
The building of these new neighborhoods is inevitable. Setting
this much space aside for recreation sure makes it a lot more
palatable.
