Geocache Description:

A nice walk along an established trail brings you to something in the woods that has seen better days. This cache had its first life as a hunt for the GPS The Game challenge that goes with the GPS The Movie.


The new container is more appropriate for something on an old car. Can you say hide a KachEY?

This GPS hunt should start at the parking coordinates of N39 08.299 W076 32.100. Try using a map to determine the best approach to the parking, not your GPSr. One more thing, Kings Bench Pl doesn't connect to Central Ave. The maps sometimes lie.. :)

From here start walking a magnetic bearing of 304. Follow the edge of the woods around to the left until you see a sandy path heading into the woods on a bearing of 224 magnetic. This well established path will take you into the woods. The treasure is pretty much on this path.

My family and I used to walk these woods all the time when we lived nearby. The terrain isn't diffcult and the walk will be about .4 of a mile one way. Bug spray may not be a bad idea.

There may be quicker ways into the woods, but I don't know the parking situation or how the trails go. Use at your own discretion.
