This Deltona park has hosted several heathen ballgames. The woods
here are one of their favorite places to play Lord of the
Flies so we thought we would make it the site of our inaugural
cache hide.
The final stage is a baby cache spawned in Clan Riffster's
Proliferation. Inside is the original swag, plus a dollar bill
for FTF, PLUS two nano tubes, meant to be used as "granchild"
caches. Take one or both, but use them wisely, because micro caches
are very likely to be disowned, cast out, and forsaken for
violating the family mission. When you create caches with the nano
tubes, please post the link(s) here in a note so that the family
lineage can be traced. The first stage is a well camo'd medicine
bottle the size of a film canister. There is no bushwhacking
necessary at stage 1. Not a lot of walking, either. But you should
expect wet feet at the second stage. There are a number of dead end
trails.
You should know that this area is a potpourri of invasive exotic
plants. I saw air potato, Chinese tallow, old world climbing fern
and camphor. If you take any with you, please dispose of it
properly. Also plenty of bamboo, so bring the panda.
Update January 2007: It seems that this area is experiencing a lot
of juvenile muggle activity, so the new container was (hopefully)
hidden well enough to avoid detection. I have increased the
difficulty from 2.5 to 3.5. The new container is one of my own
making, and should realistically be called the ugly stepchild of
Proliferation.
