Panzerkunst Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

blaufish: The Grand Master has taught Frewsabug all she can learn. Many geocachers have also come here to train with The Grand Master. But now the secret art of Panzerkunst must once again be brought underground, to stop it from falling into the wrong hands.

(The area of the cache had problems with frequently bad satellite reception. Also the cache hiding spot had been damage by heavily increase of wetness, when recovered for achieving the cache was some 5 - 15cm down in mud...)

Great many thanks to the cache finders:

Geocache Description:

A nice walk in the woods around Kaverös.

Once upon a time, there was a travel bug named Frewsabug. Frewsabug had travelled accross many lands and sailed many seas, and she had seen many dangers. She came to Kaverös, and sought the grand master.

- "Master, teach me to be strong!"
- "You shall learn Panzerkunst, and you will be strong."

For seven days and seven nights Frewsabug trained, and she was ready to continue her quest around the world. Please help her to her next cache, and let it be far, far away.

THIS CACHE IS ARCHIVED!

First pages of log-book:

THANKS FOR VISITING PANZERKUNST!

Small container, original content:

  • Pen + log book
  • Coins: 1 x 2 euro, 1 x 20 euro cent, 1 x 2 euro cent
  • TB Frewsabug
  • A small frog toy

The GPS does not synch very well here (I got about 10 meters accuracy with my Garmin eTrex Venture). Check the spoiler picture if you cannot find it, your GPS could be pointing you some meters in the wrong direction.

Often the cache is more or less covered in old leaves, dirt and sticks, but it kind of depends on the most recent cacher how well hidden it is. Also, very heavy rain sometimes moves the cache a couple of decimeters, making it more visible.

2006-10-29: Please search CAREFULLY. The cache site is nice, I have never seen any danger here, but another geocacher cut himself while searching for the cache. There may always be hidden dangers in the woods, take care!

2006-10-29: Will put new improved spoiler pics as soon as the upload images feature is working again.

2006-09-11: Updated coordinates to N 57° 40.080 (old coordinates were N 57° 40.081). Automatic avaraging performed with a Garmin GPS 60, over 200 meassurements, estimated accuracy: 5 meters. Actually I today I had pretty nice GPS reception to begin with (7 meters accuracy) when I started the avaraging! Also updated the Long Description and Hint with more info, to help you some more.

2006-08-13: Updated overall difficulty from 1 to 2.5 since everyone (including myself) have had some trouble finding it. Again: the spoiler pic is more reliable than GPS for finding this one

Många DNF:er på denna cache. Cacheägaren är dock en trevlig prick som bor inte så långt härifrån, kan kanske komma förbi och hjälpa till att leta. Telefonnumret finns på telefonlistan som Geocaching i Sverige huserar.
