A short offset cache with plenty of places to park and a quick walk by a scenic river.
This the second in the series of "Downy's Caches." They are all supposed to be kid friendly and fun. The terrain on this one requires minimal bushwhacking, there is a trail taht is a bit overgrown and if you like to fish, its a great spot for that too.
The Cache: Oh Alanis Morisette...you have no clue what Irony really is. Not a single thing in "Ironic" is Ironic. They are all just coincidences and misfortunate events. This Cache will illustrate a TRUE IRONY!
The coordinates given bring you next to a small station of sorts (don't wanna give it away yet) run by the city of Biddeford. Next to it are two signs. One is close to the road, the other set back a little further near the water's edge. These signs on their own are just informative but next to each other...very IRONIC.
I hope that it makes you laugh.
Each sign has a NUMBER on it. One is a Dollar amount, lets call it value "Y" and the other is a three digit number we will call X.
Park on Main Street in Biddeford not too far from Rt 1. (Inbetween two rail road crossings is a great place to start.) You can park in downtown if you want a nice walk.
Head to the coordinates and get those Numbers!
Then take your original coordinates and do some simple math...or have your kid do it ;)

Wear Bug Spray, it is next to the river and in the tree line. Also, be careful if there has been rain recently, the trail can be a little muddy.
Best part is, when this one is done, on the exact opposite side of the river is another cache.
