Geocache Description:

Thames Path - Hurley Village

Hurley pre-dates the Norman Conquest.  It was known to the Danes as Herlei and was mentioned in Domesday, indeed the oldest building dates back to 1086.  The remains of the Benedictine Monastery may still be seen, and the church is still in use.  Ye Old Bell Inn is one of the oldest inns in the country, dating back to the 12th century.

The coordinates above are for the free car park, at the end of Hurley High Street.

This is a simple multi that begins close to the Thames Path.  Round trip is around 1 mile, taking you through the village.
