fraygirls: I really hate to do this, but the time has come to archive the Gemini Hides. That feisty AHG version has walked off many times and everyone knows you can't just have one twin. Time to free this area up for some new caches. Thanks to all who visited the twins over the years!

Geocache Description:

You will be looking for a small lock&lock hidden near a newly-paved trail in Hugh Macrae Park. Very stroller-friendly, of course!

When we found out that Hootgibson59 (our arch-georival) recently celebrated the arrival of twin baby boys to his geocaching team, we were a little worried. Usually this would be an occasion to celebrate, but things are not so simple in the world of geocaching. We consulted with 1208ZUNI, the only other person who could truly understand our feelings. We all knew that, in the short–term, our rival would be sleep-deprived and easy to beat to a cache, but we also knew that these two new arrivals would grow to be a long-term challenge.

What to do...what to do? There was much hand-wringing and furrowing of brows while we contemplated our predicament. Should we move to different areas to escape this threat? Should we all quit geocaching and take up more peaceful hobbies like alligator wrestling? Then we came upon the only solution that made any sense: Let’s plant little twin caches to honor Wilmington’s newest little twin cachers! HAVE FUN!
