IceCreamMan once (well....... probably more than once) said that I
was the cacher most likely to cause death or dismemberment while
hunting my caches.A good example is his log at Ocean Pond: High Point. Another good example
for certain out of towners is my now archived cache in Raleigh
called Not one more step!.
With all this in mind, I realized I was slipping a bit and have
not hidden a truly dangerous cache in quite a while. At least in
this case, the death or dismemberment will come from a very obvious
fact once you are at the cache location. The cache should be
reasonably easy to find once you are at the correct spot.
Naturally, getting there is the problem. This area has great
possibilities for future fun and cache hiding excitement. If you
are the adventurous type, bring some cardboard with you and do some
redneck sledding for your return trip to more Florida-ish
elevations. Redneck sledding? Bring some cardboard and give it a
try.
You will get dirty and probably mildly injured to retrieve this
cache. You may get killed or seriously injured so name your
beneficiaries, hunt at your own risk, bring a friend, pre-medicate,
blah blah blah....
Enjoy!
