Stout waterproof boots essential for this cache, which is on an uphill walk over a rough rocky track, crossed by water in places.
This walk takes you from Glen Doll car park, following along the River South Esk, eventually reaching Jock's road, can be treated as a circular walk. There are waterfalls along the way, and wooden footbridges to cross, which can be slippery when wet.
The cache is hidden at the edge of the wood, please be careful of the steep drop down to the river here.
Please note that weather conditions can suddenly change in these glens, so please your route with a sensible person, or fill in a route card at the parking spot. Mobile phones do not work in this glen.
