KandsWife: Spearfox and I set out on a cache checking mission this morning, and this was one of them. WOW... the lake is BACK! Sure looked good after seeing it so low for so long.
The kache was under water every time a big wave would come crashing in. It was being smashed into the rocks with every whitecap, Luckily it was trapped in the rocks, and couldn’t be washed out in the lake. A brave Spearfox put his body between the angry waves and the rocks to rescue the kache. After Spearfox was safely out of the lake, we were expecting the worst, but thanks to good ol’ Pear Head for properly snapping the lid back on the decon container, the contents were high and dry. I was going to move the kache up on the rocks a little and change the coords, but that would have placed the kache in a jungle of poison ivy, so I’m archiving it and will place it somewhere else. So be on the look out, this kontainer still has some life left in it.
