Geocache Description:

A walk of about 3.5 Km around the Forestry Commission Sika Trail in Wareham Forest.

Cache placed with permission of the Forestry Commission and in accordance with the GAGB Agreement
the agreement There is free parking, in the Forestry Commission Car Park at 50 42.216 002 08.023

PLEASE NOTE: CAR PARK GATES ARE LOCKED AT 7:00pm

There are several picnic tables around the car park and at the view point that is a short detour from stage 2. There are also seats along the route.

This is an area of open heath and pine trees and clearly defined wide tracks and paths and some views.

There is no need to stray from the tracks and paths to access the virtual stages and the cache is very close to a wide track.

The area around the cache site is popular with dog walkers and cyclists, but visibility is good for “muggle watch”
Cache is a "baked bean tin size" plastic pot fully covered under pine bark pieces.
(p.s. We put quite a lot of bark over it.)
