Amos' Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Amos' Cache to find out about the status of this cache on October 15, 2008. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Another easy find in a beautiful and popular urban park.

This cache is the second in the series named after each of my kids. There's one more left, so watch this space ...

Located near the magnificent, but abandoned and possibly soon demolished "Pine Banks" mansion overlooking Jamaica Pond. The mansion is the last remaining original structure in the Emerald Necklace, Boston's system of connected parks designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. An effort is underway to restore it as a performing arts venue.

There are multiple paths leading to the location. It's a fairly popular area, so watch for mugglers and (unfortunately) trash littering the undergrowth. On-street parking is available within a half mile radius.
