*A little pioneer history lost on the back roads*
This cache is located at the site of yet another one of the many hidden pieces of history here in Iowa. This site is home to a cabin that was built in the 1850's and honors all of those brave pioneers who made there way to Marshall County, Iowa to settle. I have lived in this area all of my life and didn't even know this place existed until a friend and I stumbled on to it a few years ago! I found it to be a really neat and peacefull area with lots of history to enjoy. I hope you enjoy finding this hidden treasure as much as I did! Happy Hunting!!
You will need to bring your own pen or pencil to log your visit!
FYI: It is located in a nice shady area and would be a great place for a picnic with the family or friends!!
