Jackson's Bank Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Lactodorum: Rather than keep this cache temporarily disabled (which should only be used for shortish periods) I'm archiving it. If/when the cache is ever replaced I'll consider unarchiving it assuming it still meets the guidelines.

Geocache Description:

Beautiful secluded spot which forms part of the estate of the Duchy of Lancaster but is open to the general public for walkers, etc. For more information about the Duchy of Lancaster, please visit the website at www.DuchyOfLancaster.com. In most places there are 6 foot wide paths but there are steps down to the pond and the going gets steep in some places which will make it a little difficult for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

Great place for dog walkers.

This is a traditional style cache which is a 1 litre lok-tight tupperware-type box in a black plastic bag. The cache contains the normal log book, pen, etc.

The cache has started with the following:- Burton Scout Badge, Simpson Maze Game, 50 Piastres Egyptian Note, Lipstick Holder, Small Picture Frame, Shoe Shine, Sophie 'lil Bratz Doll, Play the Zone Badge, Little Miss Sunshine Window Suction Badge, Barbie Rubber, Eeyore Name Tag and Find Me Some Sanity Travel Bug.

Park at the free car park that you'll find at location:-
N 52.48.381 W 001.47.643. This is on the road to Hoars Cross from the A515.

GPS coverage isn't too good under the trees until you get to the cache site. So find your general direction whilst still in the carpark.

The actual cache is about 20ft into the woods from the waypoint co-ords.
