Geocache Description:

The 3-P was a nickname for my wife's dog; "pretty precious puppy". I only had the pleasure of knowing her for 8 months, but it was enough to get attatched.

This is a geocache dedicated to dogs. It was placed in honor one of the best companions a person could have, Gedgit, a Black Lab Norwegian Elkhound mix. I got her when she was 8 weeks old and she lived to be over 13. She lived a good spoiled life since she was my only baby. Gedgit loved to play with tennis balls and she sure chewed up plenty of them through out her life. She also wore bandanas to primp up or celebrate holidays and special occasions.

The cache is a 30mm ammo can and the original contents are: logbook, pen, pencil (in plastic bag), 2 tennis balls, a rope tug toy, dog photo frame, 3 bandanas, TB – Hound of Cacherville, and TB – Shamrock Bones.

Please do not put anything in the cache that has a scent to it, so the cache does not get destroyed by animals trying to get into it. Please be respectful to the area the cache is located. Becarful in the cache area, because the is a steep drop off a couple feet in front of it. The cache is an easy find. Please cover it back as you found it, so it doesn't get muggled. Hints will progressively give the hunt away. The waypoints also offer a lot of help.

We recently started a new yahoo group for local cachers to talk about caches and caching in general. If interested search for Yahoo group charlestonareageocachers.
