Geocache Description:

This is a fairly simple trek as long as you stay on the trail for two thirds of the hike and then let the GPS and your great finding skills kick in and do the work. It is pretty much flat terrain and should be fun for all ages. It is near a lil cliff so if you do bring children make sure to keep them near you.

Welcome to my cache! The Object of this cache is to stay on Chestnut lawn trail for about majority of the adventure and take in some of the beautiful sights and sounds of Letchworth State Park. So far I am safe to say that every time I take on this trail I never fail to walk away with out seeing some form of wild life. Just in my few trips out to my cache I have seen a very full snake, deer, toads and other wood creatures. Hopefully you will be as lucky to take in some of your own memories while on this find. You will never need to go over a cliff in order to find this caches, remember the key is to stay on trail for the majority of the hike.

About two thirds into the trail let the GPS and your great finding skills do the rest of the work. As you walk along the trail you are able to hear the sound of the lower falls close by which adds to the experience of the find. This is a two part cache with the first cache as a micro leading to an ammo box in the final find. The cache is filled with a few random trinkets as well as a camera so feel free to snap a picture and place it back in the box. If you come to my cache and the camera has been used up please inform me so I can get the pictures developed and hopefully put on the site.

The name of the cache comes from a long running story between my friend and me about her early childhood home before we met. If you want to know more feel free to e-mail after you have found the cache. I would say more but it would make the final cache a sure give-away.

As for parking, the first part of the cache will lead you to a little area with in feet of the micro where you can pull off to begin your adventure. Try to park off of the maintenance road it is still used from time to time. Once parked your adventure begins! Enjoy.
