Geocache Description:

This cache is starting out with a new green jeep and one of my Personal/Trackable CacheDragon Geocoins. The FTF winner gets the coin and I will transfer ownership of it over to them, if you already have my coin please leave it for the next cacher. This cache is small so other than jeeps and coins I would just like signatures. My GPS was reading 19 foot accuracy.

These woods used to be protected by a gnome named Cobbdar. One night while Cobbdar was making his rounds he noticed what looked like a snare. He decided to go and destroy the snare so that none of his friends that lived in the woods would be hurt. As he was destroying the snare he realized that he was being watched. Without a second thought he made a run for it, not knowing who was chasing him he ran as fast as he could. Cobbdar used every gnome trick he knew to escape his attacker but they were able to follow him wherever he went. He realized he was going to be caught so he decided to stand and fight. The battle began and Cobbdar was winning, then the attacker admitting defeat removed his hood and revealed himself, it was Mardrick, Cobbdar’s older brother. Cobbdar could not believe it, he was so sad that he dropped his guard, that’s when Mardrick struck him with everything he had. Cobbdar was hurt bad and looked at Mardrick and asked "why brother would you do this?" Mardrick looked at Cobbdar and said I am the oldest, I am the rightful heir to the throne, yet father chose you over me to be the keeper of the woods. Without you, I will get what is rightfully mine. Cobbdar was sad but knew that he would not survive another hit. While Mardrick was going on and on about how the woods should have been his, he did not notice that Cobbdar had pulled out his whistle. This was a whistle that he had carved himself and had used to train a baby bird that he had found and raised. He blew the whistle and before Mardrick could finish him off the bird flew down and swooped Cobbdar away. It has been many years since this has happened and the woods still wait for his return. Cobbdar’s home sits empty and hidden away in the woods. The legend goes that once enough travelers visit and leave their mark he will return and reclaim the woods. Until then watch out for Mardrick and his evil ways, many people have entered the woods never to be seen again.
