Geocache Description:

Located in the beautiful desert of Southwest Idaho. Take the newly paved Sinker road to celebration park. You can park at the old guffey bridge to start this adventure.

Located in the rocks on the basalt cliffs of Guffey Butte. This is a nice regular cache in a 2 quart thermos which contains odds and ends from the dollar store. After your hike, take a moment to stop here and rest while taking in the beautiful view of the desert and valley below. You can see what looks like sandstone cliffs in the small canyon below.

In the summer this is a good cache to visit first thing in the morning when the sun is rising and it is cool. You might bring some water with you and keep an eye out for snakes.

If you come to this cache, take a look at the four other caches on the butte, Desert Canyon, Desert Majesty, Guffey Butte and Con Shea Basin.
