miatabug: It looks like a bear really enjoyed this container. We were able to find the container pieces, the log, and the remaining swag. It looks like the bear was trying to get to the bubbles. Thanks to all who visited this cache.

Previous finders are welcome to solve the new puzzle and refind this cache. As always, Dave has no understanding of the solution so don't even ask. Address all questions to Ladybug. 4 is unlucky

. . . in Chinese at least. 4 is considered to be unlucky because in the main spoken dialect of Chinese, Mandarin, the word for 4 sounds the same as the word for death.
To solve this puzzle you must determine the Mandarin Chinese pronunciation of each character and substitute the number (single digit) that has the same pronunciation. For example, the 4 in “N41 . . . “ could be substituted with the character for death.

Just a few things to remember:

1. These are pronunciations based on standard Chinese, not Cantonese, Hakka, etc.

2. Accents (inflections) don’t matter.

The container is a Tupperware-like container. There is a parking area near Forest Road 411. You can either find this cache by walking the forest road or walking the trail identified by the restoration sign. We are at our property frequently and will be able to check any problems with the cache. There will be a hint for solving the puzzle after the FTF.
