Lost In The Wilderness Traditional Cache
Super88: It appears that this cache has been muggled and I am too far away to check on it (I live in England now) so it should be archived. :(

I had so much fun finding Fledermaus’s cache “Which Way Do I
Go?”(GCXHJF) that at his recommendation I placed this one nearby
and even placed another in the general area.
For this cache I would also recommend parking at N47° 33.058 x
W122° 49.625, and keeping the tradition over on this side of the
road I will borrow Fledermaus’s ‘Door’ coordinates. There’s more
than one way to this cache so you must choose Door #1 - N47° 32.810
x W122° 49.840, Door#2 - N47° 33.100 x W122° 49.680 or Door#3 -
N47° 32.850 x W122° 50.540.
Regardless of which Door you choose, this cache will require some
bushwacking. If you follow the crossroads coordinates and
directions to the Fledermaus hide then you should have the easiest
route with the least bushwacking. From the ‘Which Way Do I Go?’
cache site you must find a way through 150-250 feet of some heavy
brush. From that point the route becomes a bit easier - thinner
brush with more rocks and ground-moss. (There are lots of animal
trails through the brush but the animals tend to be shorter than us
and thus you may find yourself ducking and weaving a lot.) Be
careful and watch for abrupt and steep terrain changes!
Look for this waypoint : N47° 33.068 x W122° 49.929, which is where
there is a semi-open area with a bunch of logs stacked up
vertically against a horizontal log as a makeshift lean-to (there
was also an old blue tarp on the ground nearby). At this waypoint
you should be within 150 feet or so of this cache. After
proceeding from the lean-to it seems that the satellite signal goes
haywire - with 3 different models/brands of GPSr's I had 3
different directions and distances which were very different from
one another. So I've added these directions: Stand on the north
side of the 'lean-to' and take a magnetic compass bearing of
approximately 27°. Walk 100-150 feet in that direction and look for
blue ribbons. There are a couple tied on trees in a semi-open area
with mossy ground. A few yards from here you should spy 2 blue
ribbons tied to the same branch...the cache is within 10 feet of
these ribbons.
The cache is a .50 caliber ammo can loaded with goodies and hidden
in a common location.
FTF prize is a set of unactivated Travel Bug Dog Tags.
In keeping with the tradition in this area, please do not
mention which ‘Door’ you chose to get to the cache in your log
entry. Thanks and have fun!
