This is a potluck picnic at Thompson Park in Monroe Township.
It's been too long since we have hosted an event, and even longer since we have had a picnic.
The event will take place September 9, 2006. Starting at 11am. Meet us at Picnic Grove 2!
We reserved the grove and got the permit. You bring the goodies to chow down on! I'm sure Mrs. Ekitt10 will cook up something good. Of course, I'll supply the pork roll!
Thompson Park is 2 miles off exit 8A on the NJ Turnpike. The park features several sports fields, playgrounds, a lake with fishing, a small zoo, and 375 acres of woods with more than 3 miles of hiking trails. You will probably find some caches there too!
There is no official theme for this event. It’s just a chance for the area cachers to get together and talk caching.
