This is the container from our Triple Tree cache that we resurrected and placed on an acceptable trail. Cache is not far from the trail and very near parking.
THIS PARK WILL BE CLOSED FOR HUNTING NOVEMBER 17 - 19 AND NOVEMBER 30 - DECEMBER 3, 2006. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO ENTER THE PARK DURING THIS TIME.
We have enjoyed this park for years. If you are looking for a nice hike, try the Kelly Hertel Nature Trail (no caches allowed there).
We refreshed the contents, adding a few geocahcing items.

The geocache is on McHenry County Conservation District land with
permission.
•Absolutely no cutting of brush or other vegetation is allowed.
•Visitors must remain on designated trails until you are right at the cache.
•It is the visitor’s responsibility to orient themselves with the site rules.
•Sites are open sunrise to sunset, however some gates may not be open until 8am.
•At certain times of the year, sites will close for a variety of reasons.
