Geocache Description:

This cache is located on a Thousand Trails RV preserve in a canyon East of Otay lake. Cars are permitted on the preserve with a member pass only, but parking is free at the store outside the gate. You can walk the paved streets most of the way, culminating in a short but steep climb to the cache. Although you seldom encounter them, there may be rattle snakes in the vicinity, so look carefully where you put your hands and feet.

This is a standard military Ammunition box, containing a logbook, pen and pencil, Travel Bug, Travel Coin, a whistle/compass, and a page of instructions. A nice DVD is included for the first finder.
