Anchorage 2006 Alaska Geocoin Distribution Event Event Cache

When: Thursday, September 7, 2006 - 6:30PM

Where: Sourdough Mining Company, 1500 Juneau St., Creekside Banquet Room.

What: Meet, greet and 2006 Alaska Geocoin Distribution.

It's that time again. The Geocoins are ready and waiting for you to claim. Of course, to claim one or several requires a nominal fee:

Bronze - $9.00
Silver - $30.00 (one ounce 0.999 silver!)
Gold inlay - $50.00 (24k gold relief on one ounce 0.999 silver)

Also for sale for $3.00 each are 1" geopins based on the coin design. They are available in antique bronze (left) and antique silver finishes.

The coins and pins are currently being sold only at local Alaskan events. Bring cash or checks (made out to Mike Malvick, aka Daddy Ladybug of the Ladybug Kids and underwriter of the 2006 Alaska geocoin project) to purchase your coins at this event! FOR ALASKANS ONLY: If you would like to pay by credit card, you may order the coins and pins online. Indicate in the "Note" box that you will pick them up at the event and the shipping and handling charges will be refunded. Orders from outside Alaska will not be honored until after this event.

The coins are trackable on geocaching.com and will add a custom icon to your profile when you log one.

Come and stay to enjoy the great food, beverages and comradery! We will be ordering dutch treat from the menu. Bring the whole family but come early, seating is limited.

We will also discuss upcoming events and need your input on what events you would like to see.
