The actual hike is only about 1 mile up a gentle 500 feet. One must drive to the end on RD. 1310 then left on 660 to get there.
This is another of my Scenic geocaches. There are two views along the way. A great view of the Columbia Wilderness to the north and once on top a view to the east and South of Mt. Hood. There are three bonus to check out at the top.
One is a hiker registry, one is a cute outhouse and the last is actually missing at the top, but it used to be there. Can you guess what it was?
Finally i was told about a grave site along the way, but was unable to find it. Please be respectful of it if you find it.
While your there, you might want to check out the two other caches in the area, Fire Watch and Chinidere Mt.
The theme is fishing, so try and trade fishing related items.
