A long time ago, when the world decided Texas was too big, a surveyor messed up and left out a part of Central West Texas. In redrawing Sterling, Irion and Tom Green this area of Tom Green County ended up as part of the original county, and made it one of the very few that look like a pot with a long handle pointed to the West (go West Young man).
To find this one you just have to drive a LONG way out into the wilds of West Texas. This road runs from Rankin in the south to Sterling City in the north, and is a route for oilfield folks and not much else (until deer season). Lots of dead deer on the roadside so this is not recommended at night unless you are a slow driver.
Container is a 10 inch long metal Army type tube with the requisite bling. Please use some caution as in any cache in the weeds, and way out, there is no telling what is lurking. An easy park and grab, but way out yonder. Enjoy the sounds of money being sucked from the ground all around as this is in the middle of a huge oil field. The noises you hear are the pump jacks sucking the black gold up and out so you can drive way out here.
The cache takes it's name from the draw to the south.
