Former Lonely Pine Cache. A nice hike along the dunes. This ammo box is hidden only a few steps off the trail.
Park your boat or kayak at N41 30.656 W71 05.383 and take a nice walk (followed by a picnic?) along the dune trails. No need to wander into any swampy area to find the cache.
Look for tracks from otter,owls, deer, coyotes, and plovers.
There is also car parking at N41 30.705 W71 04.590, which is the Westport town beach. You can park here 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. During the beach season (May - Oct) you need a town sticker to escape getting a ticket.
