Approach from Highway 260 about two miles west of Hwy 87. Enter forest road at N 34 28.293, W 111 26.967
Cache is about a 3 1/2 mile hike from Hwy 260. With high clearance 4wd vehicle you can drive to within half a mile of cache. Some cross country hiking with no trail is required. We placed this cache here because so many have enjoyed the view from our original Calf Pen cache on the east side of the Canyon. This is an even better view. This cache is safe to approach and find, however BEWARE OF NEARBY CLIFFS AND HAZARDOUS FOOTING. THERE IS NO WAY TO GET FROM CALF PEN ON THE EAST SIDE OVER TO THIS WEST CALF PEN CACHE OTHER THAN BY ROAD/HWY!
