P47 Traditional Cache

This cache is on private property owned by the Air Force Villages, where I am a resident. Village management has approved placing this cache. The Villages are a retirement facility for retired military officers, their spouses and widow(er)s. For full info goto http://airforcevillages.com/.
As of 4/2/2010 we have had one rattlesnake bite in the area. He survived after 2 days in hospital.
The cache is on the west side of a 1/2 mile portion of Montgomery Road north of Hwy 90, ending near the rear entrance to the viilage. It is lightly used, 4 lane divided. It widens at the end of the finished portion with room for parking near this cache.
Management prefers not to have night cachers so it is discouraged. If you are questioned as to what you are doing just tell the person that you are geocaching with permission.
This property has had little human presence for about 20 years so is inhabited by lots of critters such as roadrunners, skunks, porcupines, rabbits, snakes,etc. There are thorn bushes and cactii but I can walk to the cache without getting stabbed if I am careful.
The cache is named for the P47 “Thunderbolt” fighter plane flown by many of the residents of the Village.
The cache is a small, tape camouflaged, micro. Room only for the log so BYOP. Difficulty rating is for my skill level.
