Geocache Description:

This cache is a Lock N Lock container, about a half mile walk in, on a loop trail that was dedicated on August 19, 2006. Which way you take the loop is up to you.

On August 19, 2006 Forest Lyford, of the Northborough Trails Committee and who works with the New England Forestry Foundation, led a group of people on an inaugural hike on this new trail. Forest taught us a lot about the area from learning that there is a suture between the tectonic plates nearby, to seeing the chestnut trees trying to grow back from dead stumps and hearing about glacial deposits.
The glacial erratic near this cache is one he likes to call Perch Rock, and thus the name of this cache. The name Jubilee is for the road near the parking, but do not park on Jubilee Road, which is considered private. Parking is at N42 18.346 W071 40.493. The trail head is right at the parking coords, it is marked with blue blazes. DO NOT PARK ON JUBILEE ROAD.
The blue-blazed one to one-and-a-half mile loop trail crosses over Jubilee Road a couple of times if you take the loop. Along the way you may hear the Attack Rooster. He's probably harmless and lives on private land, but you've been warned We hope you enjoy your visit. As with all caches, please try not to trample the undergrowth and cause a "social trail" at the site. Also, please rehide the cache just as you found it.
