This
cache is located in the Silver creek nature
preserve. I made this one an easy
one for the kids, and stocked it full of dollar store goodies. I
probably spent under $10, and the kids ought to love the
goodies-lets try to keep up the quality/theme for the
kids. I also threw in a few cheapy trinkets and some
coins for the adults.
I put
this cache at about the half-way point of the loop, so you might as
well walk the whole trail. Bring your bikes, but not your
dogs—they are not allowed.
Also, I
have listed the co-ords for a tree which I believe is a thong tree
(google it!). Then again, it might just
be an oddly shaped tree. Near those
co-ords is nice view of Silver Creek, anyway.
One more
thing: I placed this cache during a dry
spell. The area is a wetlands, and the
cache may be in a marsh. We’ll see once
we get some rain. Have fun!
