We were out driving around, caching of course, and looking to
place a cache as well. We finally found a nice spot, but darn if I
didn’t forget to keep track of the coordinates.
Fortunately we had our trusty track log from our GPSr. We were
able to recreate the roads we had been on. Hopefully this will help
you (and us) determine the location of the cache.
Lets see we were on MD 210 Indian Head Highway, then MD 337
Allen Town Road, and MD 279 Elkton Road. After a while we got tired
of that area so we ventured down into VA to the I-64 junction but
we were having trouble finding the caches in VA, so back to
Maryland.
Once we were in Maryland we were on MD 24 Edgewood when we we
realized we hadn’t found a cache in Delaware yet, so a little
further north to DE 896 College Avenue. While we were there we were
also on DE 273 (Christiana Road). Finally we figured we better
start heading back to good old Maryland. We hit MD 414 St Barnados
Road, but got confused at the beltway, and we were at MD I-295 and
all the way down to US 301 in Virginia before we realized our
mistake and got ourselves turned around for home.
Quite the day trip. I guess I should have checked the mileage,
is that in the track log?
I do remember a couple of things about the cache. It is about .1
mile off of the main trail. The grass is a little grown up, maybe
knee high in a couple of places, but I was able to find a game
trail/geo trail almost to the cache. Speaking of game I saw a lot
of deer in the immediate area. Also if you happen to go in the way
I did you’ll see evidence of what road rage can cause so be careful
out there.
Hope you enjoy.
Congratulations to that puzzle solving trio Maryland Steelers
