Geocache Description:

This cache was placed for the MGS September '06 Meet 'n Greet as all the teachers and students were headed back to school. This cache is State Park approved.

Remember the movie "You've Got Mail!"? In the movie, Tom Hanks' character says "Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly-sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address.

This cache contains school supplies.

A visit to this area in the late 1800's and early 1900's would have been greeted by children playing around a one room school house. The school served between 20 and 25 children in grades one through eight. A pot-belly stove fueled with coal by the older students warmed the wood frame building. A stone ring at one corner of the foundation marks the site of the outhouse.

The coordinates of the final cache are N AB° CD.EFG, W HI° JK.LMN where L=0.
