Second in a series of 12 caches representing the required Merit Badges that a boy must earn on his way to achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Eagle Scout is the highest rank that a youth can earn in the Scouting program. When all 12 caches have been placed we will have a permanent Travel Bug that you can discover to complete your Eagle Project.
By the time a boy earns the Citizenship In The Nation merit badge he is knowledgeable about:
- Declaration of Independence
- Preamble to the Constitution
- The Constitution
- Bill of Rights
- Amendments to the Constitution
- His elected representatives (Congressman, Senator, etc.)
- The branches of the Federal Government and their functions
- What it means to be a good citizen
Initial cache contents are various items that could be associated with patriotism. Cache is in a DeCon container. Please replace the cache exactly as you found it; do not leave it on the ground.
