Geocache Description:

IE Cachers have been discussing when and where to have a CITO Event. So here it is!! The event is going to go from 10 am to 1pm on October 8 with prizes awarded afterwards for various categories. Of course donations for extra prizes will be accepted!

Come one come all and help clean up the San Bernardino Forest. There are plenty of caches near by to get before or after the event.

This will be an active event so make sure you bring something to drink and something to protect you from the sun. If you have work or gardening gloves bring those. If you have those trash grabber/pickerupers those are great because the Forest Service has a very limited number of them.

In August I helped clean up Thurman Flats and they provided the heavy duty trash bags for us. We cache in this area, use the roads to get to Big Bear and other mountain cities and caches so let’s give a little back and help Mother Nature! Hope to see you all there!

Please RSVP early so I can give the ranger a rough number of people so they can give us an area big enough or small enough for our group!! Thanks see you soon! Happy caching!
